Youth who are at least nine years of age or higher, may sign up to be an acolyte. Please let us know if you are interested. We will help train you and get you on a regular schedule.

Nursery Volunteer – For those youth age 12 and older - another way you can share your time and talents is by volunteering in the nursery. Once every other month or so, you will be scheduled to assist Marista, the Nursery Attendant, on Sunday mornings during either the 8:45 or 11:00 worship. Please let Christine O’Connor know if you would like to be a volunteer.

FRIDAYS! – On Friday mornings during the summer, middle school and senior high youth are invited to help out in the church office by folding and collating the bulletin, sharpening pencils, preparing the newsletter for mailing, etc. At the end of the summer we say thank you for all your help by throwing a pizza party. Parents – You, too, are an integral part of our youth ministry at Gloria Dei! We need “shepherds” to chaperone and transport youth for various outings. to participate in the games and discussions, and assist with set-up and clean-up. In time, youth will then look up to you as a friend and mentor, an actual adult youth can trust. Don’t worry, we won’t make you do anything too squeamish your first outing.
